Denim dress

I was thinking the other day that my closet could use some more denim…. My closet definitely does NOT need more denim, but you can’t go wrong with a classic summer dress like this. It’s actually heavy enough that it could be worn in the fall and winter too. I love simple dresses that you throw on and you are good to go. If you haven’t noticed yet, I don’t do a lot of fancy. I love classic pieces that can be dressed up or down. This dress is definitely one of those.

I have been neglecting my favorite Toms booties, so I pulled them out to wear with this 🙂 They really are so comfortable. I’m really into little shoulder purses right now. Being a mom, I always lug around my big mom bag, that you’ve seen a million times, and I love it, but it’s so nice to carry around a cute little purse that fits only the necessities.

This dress would look SUPER cute with a leather moto jacket and you can guarantee that you will see that with this dress at some point on this blog. Just a fair warning that come fall and winter, all you will see is leather jackets! I have a slight large obsession with them. I am already counting down the days till I can wear them again. Unfortunately we are in Texas, so it’s going to be a while 🙁

  1. Hi Mary, Is the tassel necklace you linked to Solesociety (wearing with the denim dress) similar or the actual necklace? The tassel on the model in the picture on their website looks much longer. Thanks!

Hi Sabrina! It’s similar and thought I wrote similar next to it, but looks like I forgot! Sorry about that. The actual one I’m wearing is from a little boutique here in Texas and they don’t have online. However, I get most of my tassel necklaces from my friends boutique Patina + Peonies and I linked a black one to her shop in my mustard jacket post, if you want to check it out! Thanks for reading! Hope you have a great weekend 🙂
