Oversized goodness

shopping secret 2

This week I’m showing some good fall transition outfits and this one is perfect for that. We all have leggings, right? But do you have faux leather leggings?! If the answer is no, then you need them yesterday. I recently bought THESE and I am smitten. You might have seen my post on them a while ago so you may already know about them. They are so great for fall. Plus, they are high waist and control top…. I mean, HALLELUJAH!!!! They are meant to fit tight so order your normal size but they will feel snug. I am wearing a size medium for reference.

Insta Round Up

insta r 1

If you follow me on Instagram, then you might have seen my post yesterday about a dress like this. The dress I’m wearing here is not available in this color anymore, only in black HERE and is a little pricey. I found THIS dress for 18 dollars, which is almost an exact replica, only in a pretty auburn color. Which would be SO cute for fall! Pair with cute booties like THESE, a hat like THIS and THIS jacket and you are set! Plus, this company gives you 40% off your first order! Sounds too good to be true, huh?! I’ve ordered from them many times and they are legit. It takes a little longer for shipping, but it’s the same quality clothes as almost anywhere but so much cheaper because it’s not name brand. My Makeup Must Haves

Makuep 1

I’m not a huge beauty product person but I have my makeup must haves and am pretty faithful with them. I have found quite a few of them through my monthly beauty box service, Glossybox. Others through my sister in law (my beauty guru) and the rest I have used since I was a teenager.

Faux for the win

pink suede 1

I partnered with Coco and Main a while ago and they sent me this skirt and it is still one of my favorites. I love the soft feeling of it and love the color. This skirt is a great transition piece for fall. It could definitely be worn with over the knee boots or ankle boots, add a jacket, like I did, and it’s perfect for fall. You could even wear a little crop sweater. Ok, now my mind is spinning with outfit ideas!! For instance, THIS sweater with THESE boots. THIS skirt also comes in other colors that would be even better for fall, and it’s only 14.99! Plus, they are giving my readers free shipping with code SHIPAWAY! [Read more…]

Loafer love

loafer love 1

I recently found these loafers at DSW and I’m over the moon for them. I had a pair of nude flats from Gap that I wore constantly and ended up wearing them out, so I was so happy to find these because these will go with everything in my closet. I pair them with jeans, leggings, dresses, skirt, shorts, everything! Unfortunately they are sold out now 🙁 I’m telling you guys, you need to start going to DSW regularly to find the deals. These were on sale and then another 40% off the sale price! They ended up being 20 dollars, I think.  [Read more…]

Happy Monday, everyone! I just dropped off my oldest baby at kindergarten this morning and I am happy to report, I did better than I thought! I’m not a blubbering mess, HOORAY!! In part because Sophia was crying and I had to keep it together for her. I can’t wait to pick her up and hear about her amazing first day ♥ [Read more…]

Favorite jeans, 4 ways, kimono love

fave jeans- kimono 1

Check check, is this thing on?? Anyone still here?? If you’re still here, give yourself a pat on the back for sticking with me! We made it to day 4 of how to style jeans four ways! For my last outfit, it had to be paired with this kimono from Fox and Trotter. Can we just have a moment of silence for this beauty…………………………..I am just so in love! The fringe, the color, the material, the fit.. all of it! I can’t stress enough that every closet needs a kimono. They are so perfect and add just the right touch to an outfit. They are also great if you are pregnant cause they cover your butt and hips! If you are pregnant and your butt and hips haven’t grown, then you suck lol. The great thing about kimono’s is that pretty much every retailer carries them. I will link a few from forever 21 and also a company called Ascot + Hart has great ones too.

Favorite jeans, day 3

fave jeans day 3-4

It’s day 3 of 4 ways to style these jeans! This week I’ve not only been showing how to style your favorite pair of jeans but shopping and finding deals off Instagram. The next two days are devoted to Fox and Trotter. My favorite Insta shop! How sweet is this top I got from her?! Where are my emojis?!! I need the heart eyes one right now! I can’t find it anywhere to link but I’ll link a few similar options. This shade of denim goes with every color and that is another reason I love them ♥ I love them paired with this sweet top. It’s so feminine and I always love creme and denim together. It hits just in the right spot to give you a tiny waist. One of the things I love about shopping from Instagram closets is not only do you get a great deal on something but you can find really unique things too that might not be available anymore!

My favorite jeans, four ways, day two

fave jeans day 2-3

This week I am showing how to style THIS pair of jeans 4 ways because everyone has jeans in their closet and it’s always fun to see some different ways to make an outfit. Yesterday was with a casual fringe top that I scored from Somethings Borrowed, the Instagram closet shop of two bloggers, Laura and Anna. Today’s outfit is with a crop top that I got from the same shop. Now I realize wearing a lace crop top may be out of some people’s comfort zone, and I get it. It would be just as cute with a tank underneath. These are high waist jeans so it doesn’t show too much skin and especially with a tank, you’d be in the clear. I, however, don’t have a problem with showing a little skin. I have worked really hard to get my pre-baby body back! It’s a personal preference, so whatever you are comfortable with! [Read more…]
