I had the pleasure of trying out a cycle bar class at Cycle Bar in Chesterfield, MO. To say I loved it would be an understatement. I really wasn’t sure what to expect. I don’t love bikes or stationary bikes at the gym. In fact, I avoid them at all cost lol. I have heard of soul cycle and really wanted to try it in Dallas, but never got a chance. So when Julia messaged me and asked if I wanted to try out a class, I jumped at the chance!

My instructor was Larry and he couldn’t have been a better fit for me. It was a connect class and it’s based on music and not about competition. They offer classic classes, which is a little of everything, performance classes, which has group challenges and rider competitions. I was surprised at just how much I loved it. I am a cardio person. Whenever I work out, I always run or walk and that’s it. This was a full body workout and definitely uses muscles that aren’t used to be worked, hence the veryyyyy sore legs! I gotta say though, it’s a good sore.
The building was top notch and they had a refreshment bar with free cycle bar water bottles, chapstick, hair ties (genius), bananas, apples, and some other things. Such a nice touch! They keep the cycle studio super chilled and dark and the music loud 🙂
If you’re interested in trying out a class, they offer a free class to try it out! If you decide to go, let me know so we can go together!! I am hooked and can’t wait to go back!
You can check out their site HERE and sign up for a class!
Have a great Thursday, friends!
